Well, the newnazi result confirms what a german girl told me last year: why do you need to see Dacau camp, it’s an old story! We do not want to think about it.
This guy in the photo is Alexander Gauland, the frontrunner for the AfD. Besides wearing a tie with puppies on it, after the projections came out he declared:
“We will hunt them. We will always hunt Mrs. Merkel and everyone else. We will claim our country and our people back for us.”
A few minutes later, AfD spokesman Jörg Meuthen declared during the post-election panel, that most of their voters are actually immigrants because they believe the AfD will give them better opportunities for integration.
Except that to vote for the Bundestagwahl you already need to be a citizen: five minutes into entering Parliament and they’re already bullshitting everyone on live television.
I feel sick to my stomach. We voted Neo Nazis into our parliament.
This is by George Will, GEORGE WILL a long time republican.
Yeah, he has a raging case of asshole-itis. Good for George Will for waking up. The other republicans who continue support Trump are going to be ruined and rightfully so! The rats will go down with the ship.
Blah blah blah…… republican’s are alway depicted as stupid. Never fails, you don’t become a billionaire by being disabled or dumb. Wise up.
Baby boomers have to switch life situations with a millennial for a year. The millennial gets to live in their house (which they paid off like thirty or forty years ago) and work at their job that provides a good salary and benefits. The baby boomer has to live in the millennial’s shitty, overpriced apartment and struggle to pay rent and work a minimum wage part-time job as well as an unpaid internship in their (the baby boomer’s) field.
The show can be called Switching Cribs and every time the baby boomer throws a tantrum a little cartoon of a baby crying appears in the corner of the screen.
… …
Fund it.
With what money
I’m a millennial
Or…plot twist! The millennial THINKS that they’re going to get to live in a paid-off house and a job that provides a good salary, but actually ends up living in either a heavily mortgaged place that needs repair, a job with an extremely low salary like bagging groceries because Social Security withholds one dollar of every two that you make above a certain limit, no benefits, no pension and no 401K (because the boomer’s employers always laid people off right before they hit the five-year eligibility mark for the last two).
As both the millennial and the boomer discover that things can be thoroughly shitty for both generations, they realize that they might have been seen each other as allies (and the millennial’s view on social justice particularly worth listening to) if the mainstream media hadn’t spent years convincing both generations that the other was spoiled and unworthy of respect.
Don’t vote for progressives, or you’ll never have what you could earn for yourself. The government dole is not so generous. Social justice is just another word for communism. Don’t buy into it or suffer the consequences.
Benedict Cumberbatch has issued a statement of apology after referring to black actors as “coloured.”
The Sherlock actor used the outdated and somewhat offensive term when talking about the problems British actors face during a TV interview.
“I’m devastated to have caused offence by using this outmoded terminology,” Benedict’s statement begins.
“I offer my sincere apologies. I make no excuse for my being an idiot and know the damage is done.
"I can only hope this incident will highlight the need for correct usage of terminology that is accurate and inoffensive.
"The most shaming aspect of this for me is that I was talking about racial inequality in the performing arts in the UK and the need for rapid improvements in our industry when I used the term.
"I feel the complete fool I am and while I am sorry to have offended people.
"I apologise again to anyone who I offended for this thoughtless use of inappropriate language about an issue which affects friends of mine and which I care about deeply.”
x (via londonphile)good grief, what have we come to when this lovely man has to say this about himself? Maybe we can stop infantilizing people of color, they deserve better.
